Description
Here’s the only known copy of this Prince holy grail – a test pressing of an unreleased single by his early band 94 East, scheduled for release on US Polydor (as PD 4414) in July 1977, but cancelled for unknown reasons.
It features the tracks Be My Fortune Teller and I Just Wanna Be, and is in perfect condition.
It comes in its original plain sleeve, together with a label copy sheet printed for internal purposes at the record company.
Intriguingly, a different version of this 45 (with the same catalogue number but 10:15 on the B-side) was sold on another site in 2018, supposedly for over £2500, and with no label copy sheet.
This came from an unimaginably huge collection amassed by a long-term record nut, and is guaranteed to be 100% original and genuine.
It’s often said that you may never have another chance to buy a record, but I feel it’s true in this case.
Please note, I auctioned this exact copy last year, but the buyer was a time-waster, so here it is again.
