Description

This is a no reserve auction for the following 45 RPM vinyl record:

Artist: Poor Boys Pride

Title: Fall of a Town / The Place

Year: 1967

Cat #  Swade Records (Fenton)

Vinyl Condition: VG/VG+

Comments: Vinyl shows sleeve swiping, but plays great with some noise. The noise however is not overwhelming and there are no skips or loud pops.  Labels look good with a little rub wear. There is a name written in marker on side two it says: "lou", but is small and faded. This is a mega rare record which was put out by the legendary Michigan label Fenton. Fenton had many offshoot labels and Swade was one of them. The Swade logo itself looks like a direct rip off of the Swan label. Poor Boys Pride were a Muskegon (Freemont) Michigan band and had a surf/punk sound...very cool!  Additional information about the Fenton label and it's groups can be found here:

**** NOTE TO BUYERS****

I use the Goldmine record grading system, which is detailed below. Cover's and vinyl are graded separately and may not fall into the same category. If you would like more info about a particular title, please ask. I check Ebay often and will try to get back to you promptly.

M (MINT) - Album is brand new, sealed, and unplayed.

NM (NEAR MINT) - Vinyl looks as if you just got it home from a new record store and removed the shrink wrap. LP cover may have some light rub marks.

VG+ (VERY GOOD PLUS) -  Vinyl may show some signs of wear and may have slight scuffs or very light scratches that don't affect one's listening experience. Sleeves will have some slight wear, lightly turned corners, or a slight seam split. Also may have slight signs of wear also may be marred by a cut out hole, indentation or corner indicating it was taken out of print and sold at discount.

VG (VERY GOOD) - Vinyl has light wear, scratches or scuffs. Covers may be marred by writing, or have tape or stickers (or their residue) attached, or small seam splits.

G (GOOD) - Vinyl has moderate, ever wear throughout, but still playable. Surface noise and scratches. A cover or sleeve will has large seam splits. especially at the bottom or on the spine. Tape, writing, ring wear or other defects will start to overwhelm the cover.

P (POOR) - Lowest Grade. Audible scratches, etc. on more than half the tracks. Listening uncomfortable. The sleeve is water damages, split on all three seams or heavily marred by wear and writing.
