POLYPHONY 'Without Introduction' LP (Spain, Out-Sider, Catalogue #OSR024) Brand new/unplayed copy of limited year 2014 Out-Sider label LP edition of RARE 1971 US Rock album by Virginia Beach, Virginia based Psych-leaning Heavy Progressive Guitar/Organ driven Rock band Polyphony (originally released in 1971 on the Eleventh Hour label.)

Jaw-dropping 1972 album by one of the earliest progressive-rock bands from the U.S. Long, complex tracks full of Hendrix-like acid guitar leads, heavy Hammond organ, Moog, surrealistic lyrics and off-center vocals. A masterpiece of hard progressive and psychedelic stylings. Features remastered sound and original artwork, including an insert with photos and liner notes.
"An out-there US prog-psych band circa 1971, from Virginia, and little-known until more recent times. Their album bridged many styles from symphonic through to experimental. Some people quote Emerson, Lake & Palmer as a comparison, but except some of the keyboards, which are as much Rick Wakeman or Jürgen Fritz (or many an Italian classical progger) like, the style is quite original."
