Original Mono LP 1963

Your chance to own a rare example of the1963 Mono pressing of the PLEASE PLEASE ME LP on the UK Parlophone Black and Gold label, number PMC 1202 (Matrices 421-1N and XEX 422-2N), with the front laminated, flipback E.J. Day sleeve.

This is a much sought after original release of the album in Mono.

The publishing credits are attributed to Dick James Music Co. for Please Please Me, I Saw Her Standing There, Misery, Do You Want to Know a Secret and There’s a Place (before the later pressings were changed to Northern Songs).

With the original polythene lined Emitex inner sleeve, the record is in very good condition with just a couple of surface marks, commensurate with age, and do nothing to detract from the sound playing quality, minimal spindle marks. The sleeve is in good condition, again commensurate with age, and some wear due to storage.
