THIS IS THE ORIGINAL 1967 UK 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSING ON THE 1ST PRESS BLUE/BLACK COLUMBIA LABEL, 1ST PRESS 'SOLD IN THE UK' TEXT, 1ST PRESS 1/2 MONO MATRIX ENDINGS, 'EARLIEST POSSIBLE' 1/G 1/G MOTHER & STAMPER CODES, 1ST PRESS BLACK EMI ADVERTISING 'PATENTS APPLIED FOR' INNER SLEEVE, AND 1ST PRESS 'E.J.DAY' FLIPBACK LAMINATED COVER (WITH NO 'FILE UNDER POPULAR' TEXT!)!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS AMAZING OPPORTUNITY!!!!  The Cat. No is SX 6157 on the ORIGINAL 1st Press Blue/Black Columbia label (see picture) from 1967 and is a UK MONO 1st pressing!!!!  All the tracks are Pure quality Pink Floyd at their best!!!!  Any fan of Pink Floyd, or 60s music in general, will want to have this in their collection - especially in this condition!!!!

The record labels are in BRILLIANT condition (see pictures) with NO wear (apart from some possible 'touched in' traces around the centre holes), NO writing, and only a few VERY light spindle marks!!!!  However, the vinyl isnt in perfect condition by any means. It looks bright and shiny, but has 1 smaller slightly visible mark on Side 1, one VERY visible larger mark on Side 2, and a number of other lighter lines (only visible under light).  There is also a continuious line on 'Pow r. Toc h.' that looks like it will stick.  BUT THAT REALLY ISNT THE POINT.  ONLY 300 1G/1G 1ST PRESSINGS WERE EVER MADE - EVER!!!!  And considering that at least HALF of those would have been destroyed/thrown away over the years, and most of the rest either in long term collections (or lost in someones loft) - the chances of EVER finding another one of these is virtually ZERO!!!!  Now what would one of these go for in Mint, or even Excellent condition?  £1500?  More?  Probably.  So this is the one and probably ONLY chance for someone to buy quite literally the EARLIEST 1st Pressing of one of the THE MOST IMPORTANT LPs EVER MADE at a fraction of the price a Mint one would cost.   And this LP was made at a time (in June/July 1967) when no one had a clue how successful Pink Floyd were to become!!!!  At the point of this LPs manufacture they could have been just another 'lost' 1960s Psych band (like the Pretty Things) who were doomed to obscurity!!!!  SO THERE REALLY ISNT MANY OTHER RECORDS MORE IMPORTANT THAT THIS ONE!!!!  And of course - you can play this LP on any other standard pressing - but only a very VERY few people can claim to own the VERY FIRST ONE EVER MADE!!!!  That said - this record is still VERY presentable as an artefact, and most of it will I am certain play through fine (though obviously with a few clicks & pops!)!!!!  As I said though, I would expect a few jumps - and 1 stick in the track mentioned above.  So if I grade the vinyl 'Poor' I will disappoint no one (please note that grading!).  But as I said before - a standard Excellent or even MINT copy (even in Mono!) of this LP can (relatively) easily be picked up (at least 20+ turn up each year).  But just ask yourself - just HOW MANY people can claim to own the EARLIEST POSSIBLE '1/G 1/G' MONO 1st Pressing of this LP EVER MADE?  The answer is - virtually NONE!!!!  The record also comes in its ORIGINAL 1st Press Black EMI Advertising 'Patents Applied For' inner sleeve which is in SUPERB condition!!!!  On the more positive side the 1st Press 'E.J.Day' Flipback Laminated Cover (with NO 'File Under Popular' text!) is in BRILLIANT condition!!!!  It has NO edge wear, NO spinal wear, only slight corner wear (NOT through the colour), possible 'tipping in' to the corner tips, only a few VERY light creases (cover is VERY flat looking!), shiny laminate, and NO writing!!!!  The opening edge is beautifully straight with NO feathering!!!!  Even the unlaminated back is in BRILLIANT condition with NO ringwear, NO yellowing, NO rubbing, barely ANY grubbyness AT ALL, and NO writing!!!!  The cover must grade Very Good+ if not better and is VERY presentable indeed!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE, IS THE MOST IMPORTANT & 'EARLIEST' MONO 1ST PRESSING OF THIS LP EVER MADE - AND ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO LOCATE - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS AMAZING OPPORTUNITY!!!!
