This is the scarce 'stock copy' in near pristine condition

 ( For those of you who may not know - this is possibly one of themost desirable of the 1st four early Pink Floyd UK issue 45pm's )
this is a  SOLID CENTRE  ( i.e. S/C ) issue - and we have not seen one like this before, assuming that maybe it should have been a 4 prong centre ????...

who knows ... anyway here is ...

AUDIO GRADING as follows :


Aside from 2 very light pops as described below - This extremely rare UK 45rpm plays 100% MINT MINUS with pure stunning rich and warm sound reproduction throughout each track

with only 2 slight very light slight pops behind the music on the 1st 2 rotations of the introduction to Paint Box ... this is caused by a very tiny 0.2 mm mark to the vinyl on the begining of the intro

Otherwise there is absolutely NO hiss / NO distortion / NO clicks / NO crackle / NO ticks /  NO pops elsewhere other than already described

and this  record sounds clear as a bell,  and reproduction is crisp and truly fantastic on 'Class A' Hi-Fi system at high volume !   ..and we love it !

This is still a truly stunning example of this rare 45  with  astounding  sound reproduction throughout

...when both sides are played from the outer groove run-ins to the run-outs.

( ...we use CLASS A Hi-Fi - and our current preference is for  Shure 'Supertrack' diamond styli tracking at around 0.75 to  1 gramme
on a our favourite Thorens MK II Deck .. Matched Quad Pre / Power amps & orig. prototype Rodgers Studio 1a 'BBC reference monitors' )

CONSERVATIVE VISUAL GRADING : 

(...regular snogdogs customers will know that when it comes to extremely rare items our gradings are always conservative.... ; )


This record is full gloss, nice and flat STUNNING FULL GLOSS  EX  ( ...others more unscrupulous would no doubt say MINT MINUS or  even try MINT )

...the record has only a couple of occasional & slightest very light and tiny paper marks to the top surface laquer and some mild dulling of laquer to the ' Paint Box ' side.

 ...aside from the tiny mark on the intro to ' Paint Box ' which is very hard to see, these tiny marks disappear and re-appear upon rotation under strong light and are hard to see.


 This is a perfectly round and 100% original 1st issue 'flat edge' 45 rpm copy with NO knocks, dents, edge chips or flakes to edge of disc...

The record is 100% perfectly flat on rotation with NO warping and NO dishing

LABELS

Labels are as seen in the pictures ( please look - ) ... very nice indeed as you can see.

Raised K T stamp is visible on Paint Box side near the centre hole... with very mildest spindling both sides around the area closest to the centre holes only..

( This record came from a source where the previous owner usually played the record only a few times - prefering to transfer the sound onto reel to reel tape -
and although this record has obviously been played more than that [inc. quite a lot by ourselves - it has been treated with utmost respect and so the
sound reproduction here is still 100% sensational, and there is no absolutely NO deterioration in the sound quality or reproduction throughout  ; )

( please note ...just in case you havn't seen one... the 'brass arm' visible in the pictures is not a record player arm - but the arm of our LORICRAFT PRC4 cleaning machine  ; )

...and so true to form, this 45 is also very rare and even harder to find with the sound as brilliantly clear and  rich and warm as this...

we like to think... that without the benefit of a vinyl time machine, that you would indeed
be very hard pushed to find yourself a better copy of this 45 than the one on offer here.

and in the last 30 years of DJ-ing and collecting this is still pretty much the very best condition copy that we have ever come across...

During our care ( and most probably from new) this record has always been stored separately in a high quality card and plastic lined sleeve for best protection...
and comes with a very nice and appropriate original 1960's Columbia sleeve
