Description
What this? A rare opportunity to purchase a BBC Transcripton Services disc of vintage Pink Floyd 1970-71. Disc is made in England in 1983.
Side one is 30 mins and 08 secs and side two is 27 mins and 27 secs, these are LIVE recordings of early Floyd.
What tunes? I haven't played this since the 80's, but I seem to remember it has Echo's amongst other tunes. It's recorded live from somewhere. If anyone know's more, please would you let me know. I will play it if necessary.
Who you? I was a collector of Floyd from the period late 60's through 1980 and I had many gems, some of which are gone, some of which will be sold over the next few weeks. I still love Floyd from this period but I have lost interest in collecting. Keep an eye out for my other auctions.
Condition? The condition is superb. The outer sleeve has one or two very slight creases, but I am being picky. I'm not an expert in vinyl condition, but this looks like new! The whole thing has been kept in plastic outer coverings since I got it.
Question! All questions will be answered and more photo's can be emailed if required.
Offers? I need to sell all this gear and as such this and other rarities are advertised elsewhere. I reserve the option to remove from the auction. If you would like to make a serious offer, please do. But please do not be offended if I reject it.
Pack or collect? If you are successful in winning the auction, you may arrange to collect from me locally (I live near to that guitarist bloke from Floyd with the tatty old black Strat, but I was here first Cambridge boy!) or I will package very well indeed and item will be insured. Note that I will only charge you what it costs me to send.

On 02-Jul-06 at 17:17:27 BST, seller added the following information: Lots if interest in this disc. I had a Vinyl expert friend of mine check it out (Thanks Buck!). The condition is excellent and plays very well, may benefit from a clean as there is a little surface dust, but easily cleaned. Looks like its hardly been played. Details:- Recorded at the Paris Theatre and introduced by Richard Skinner. The band is introduced on stage by the late great John Peel and features work from Meddle and Umagumma. Side 1 1)Embryo (not released at the time, later released on More and Works). 2)Green is the colour. 3)Careful with that axe Eugine. 4)One of these days. Side 2 1) A very long version of Echos, which starts with the band sorting themselves out and David Gilmour tuning up etc. Please feel free to email me more questions.price rating
