I pre ordered this album some weeks before it’s release together with a CD of the same, the CD was for listening purposes and the vinyl was played just the once to check everything was as it should be, I have a hi end deck with a high quality stylus and the vinyl was played with just the lightest stylus weight during this single play.

The complete package was then put into a plastic protective sleeve for the next 18 years and stored along with my other valued Floyd albums, including two signed albums.

It seems that many collectors are of the impression that the sleeves with File under popular music are later pressings and not 1st pressings.

The outer sleeves to this album were pressed by two different companies, one printer put the File under popular music, the other did not.

This fact has no baring at all on weather it is a 1st press or a second press.

Yes later pressings did have file under popular music, but this had no baring on the vinyl and they were all 1st pressings, the matrix info on the vinyl belonging both sleeves show they were both 1st pressings This album in its 1st press format and in Mono had 31 different matrix numbers and letters but were all 1st pressings.

The same vinyl in Stereo had 14 different Matrix Number and letter but again were all 1st pressings.

I have two copies of this album. Both bought at the same time but from different retailers.

(special edition poster pack with poster wrapped around cover and sticker on shrink wrap) Limited edition poster pack with two posters, a small one that is wrapped around the cover and shows the band and the round screen, and a large six-pane fold open poster that shows the band with round screen and two lasers on each side. Also includes a guaranteed ticket application for two tickets for a Pink Floyd concert at Maine Road, Manchester on August 1st or 2nd, 1988, or at Wembley Stadium, London on August 5th or 6th, 1988.
