Description

Riverside Jazz Archives RLP-148 from 1961: Gospel, Blues and Street Songs with one side devoted to each artist.  Pink Anderson recorded by Paul Clayton on May 29, 1950 in Charlottesville, Virginia.  Rev Gary Davis recorded by Ken Goldstein on January 29, 1956 in New York City.  Both sides remastered in 1961 by Jack Matthews on a Hydrofeed lathe.

Cover= VG+ (sticker residue on front top right corner, name and date written on back top right corner, top 3" of the spine is gegining to split).  LP= EX condition because there is a very small mark on song 5 on side 1, otherwise rest of Side 1 and all of Side 2= Mear Mint.

Back cover has full liner notes on both the songs and the artists.

SIDE 1: Pink Anderson: john henry, every day of the week, the ship titanic, greasy greens, wreck of the old 97, i've got mine, he's in the jailhouse now. 

SIDE 2: Reverend Gary Davis: blow gabriel, twelve gates to the city, samson and delilah, oh lord search my heart, get right church, you got to go down, keep your lamp trimmed and burning, there was a time that i was blind.
