PIL PUBLIC IMAGE LIMITED Metal Box Original TIN UK 1979 Virgin Post Punk RARE LP
Going to be listing more records from this substantial private collection as I've been searching through it to find some gems.
So many of these will be rare ones, cool imports, original presses, limited editions and so forth.
I will list the artist and title, and along with the grading given above I will give a detailed description of any flaws to note, and anything else to point out.
This listing is for the "Metal Box" by Public Image Limited (PIL). It is the original UK press on Virgin. The box, as can be seen in the photos, has the typical wear these boxes get over time. It is basically oxidation wear from handling with bare hands, and then there are a few slide marks and small scratches here and there, mainly on the back of the tin. The records look to be in EX or better condition, a few sleeve marks from being between the four paper dividers. Still very glossy and shiny with nothing looking to affect play.
