Description
You are looking at an original 1973 copy of Pholas Dactylus on Magma Records. "Concerto Delle Menti" (MAGL-18002) This was the second release on the very collectable Magma label. Alphataurus was the first. Both were in limited distribution by Italian Dischi in the early Seventies. The scan of the gatefold cover does not do this justice...it needs to be seen in it's original 12x12 format. The cover has no ring wear or seam splits. There is a minor bump on lower left of the spine...and a few small creases on lower left of back cover...VG++ overall. The condition of the disc (with two side long tracks) is M-...only the faintest of hairlines are visible under a high wattage light source. The vinyl surface has that multi-coloured sheen that indicates a good recording..and also indicates that it has been handled with good care. Sounds great on an audiophile turntable (Linn Sondek LP-12)... As a bonus...It also has the original printed lyric inner sleeve in mint condition. This is one of the rarest and best records of the early Italian psych progressive era.
