Spatial, No Problem catches Jamaican dub legend Lee 'Scratch' Perry in controlled sprawl, linking with Mouse On Mars in the latter's Berlin studio complex for the late Upsetter's final hurrah. From dub to kosmische drift and fractured electronics, Perry destabilises the presence, constantly nudging it off the course that MoM rolls out. Lead joint 'Rockcurry' is the crazed post-punk intro of choice, its sound made overpresent by saturation and DC bias, as Perry hogs the mic in a kind of lowpassed, Babylonian daze. In the words of Mouse On Mars themselves: "the one thing Lee was sure of was that this shouldn't be just another reggae album."
