- Vinyl grading is usually based on the Goldmine standard but I have made it in my wording and is as follows:
- I do not have a top of the line record player and have not played the record unless mention in the listing
- I hope this helps you with my grading of the records.
- SS The cover might have a bent corner. The LP will not be inspected for its sealed For the collector that demands LP perfection.
M Mint -Cover and corners are near perfect, LP looks unplayed untouched no finger prints. 9 to 10
NM Near Mint - Cover looks factory fresh condition small defects ( bent corner some lite scuffs), LP like new looks like it has not been played but touch (finger prints). 9.0
EX- + Cover will satisfy all but the most demanding collector. LP close to like new with only superficial signs of use that don't affect play. 8.5
EX - Cover shows slight signs of wear, no holes. LP is very clean might have a lite scuff no scratches 8.0
VG+ - The Cover will have signs of wear and the possibility of a hole punch. The LP has more than a few scuffs or lite scratch surface, It has been played and loved. 7.5 I general do not sell records below this grade unless very rare.
VG - Cover has significant wear and marks and usually quite noticeable ( hole, cut corner, spine splitting). The LP has surface noise, scratches not scuffs still plays. 7.0
Good - In the record world, "Good" is not good! From here on down, we're talking about beat-up records! 6.0
