Description

 Extremely rare acetate demo recording, sung by Paul Williams, of the ROGER NICHOLS & PAUL WILLIAMS composition "SOMEBODY WAITING". This song was later recorded by Eydie Gorme, Englebert Humperdinck & Karen Wyman (seperately), and is an early collaboration dating from the early 1970s, around the time they were charting major hits for the likes of THE CARPENTERS.

Acetates like this one were cut at the time of the recording, so this is the earliest possible pressing of this historic sunshine / soft-pop recording which was not commercially released at the time. An essential collectors piece for any serious ROGER NICHOLS completist. Disc has some very light superficial marks but looks to be in very clean shape. This is a 10" one-sided, one song 45rpm acetate record. Good luck bidding on this one-of-a-kind item!
