PAUL McCARTNEY Unplugged Spain WHITE LABEL PROMO LP - Beatles - Undocumented !
Paul McCartney - Unplugged (MPL/Hispavox)
Mega rare 1991 unnumbered Spanish white label promo LP.
This pressing differs greatly to the green label UK pressing which was meant to mimic a Spanish pressing.
Labels are white with black print and have "Disco Promocional - Prohibida Su Venta" printed below the playhole.
Although the catalog number (7964131) and bar code number (0077779641314) are the same as the UK release, this version has "DIGITAL" printed at the top left corner of the front cover. Also, the star on Paul's guitar is green instead of gold. The background color is white, not beige.
There are other minor differences as well. The cover is made of fairly thick card stock and the vinyl is a thick pressing as well. Matrix numbers are hand-etched as "7964131-A" and "7964131-B".
We believe this to be a genuine Spanish promo, but we are not 100% sure as we could not find a single example of this pressing listed or pictured ANYWHERE online.
If anyone has any definitive information about this issue, please let us know.
Vinyl and cover are in beautiful (VG++) condition, except for a small light stain at the left edge of the front cover.
Condition: Disc VG++, Cover VG++
