THIS IS A REAL GEM WITH GREAT SONGS AND A BAND WITH INCREDIBLE TALENT. PARAGON was a Southern California-based band that recorded and performed for many years throughout the 80's and early 90's including playing many of the prestigious clubs on the sunset strip and built a significant fan base. Originally a four piece with keyboardist Ric Hancock taking the lead vocal duties , they added a Journey-esque frontman / vocalist and became a five-piece later on. There are only 4 songs here that were released on vinyl (that self titled EP from 1985 has been a collectors item for many years now).  The early material is killer progressive pomp rock / AOR with tons of great keyboard / guitar interplay .
