Here is a very rare UK Issue on the Island 'pink rim' label of the self titled "Free" Album from 1969 with A-5U - B-5U.
The labels are like new and grade as near mint,side one has no spindle trace at all and side two has the very slightest trace and is a real strain to see it and there are no stains,writing or marks of any kind and the centre ring has no sign of wear on either side,please refer to the photos.
The vinyl on side one is has no scratches,only some unusual swipe lines,which are more like sleeve marks that flow in line with the vinyl grooves and upon seeing this you will be aware immediately that these are insignificant and certainly in terms of the playback....Stunning sound quality,very clear and only track 3 shows some very light static and as soon as the vocals come begin this stops and considering how slight and brief this noise is,plus the fact that this is the only very slight negative here and that the rest of side one plays beautifully and so I grade as Near Mint and the audio I grade as mint- Side two is visually I grade as Mint- and has no scratches hairlines or rub marks and may have one or two of the usual,for a none sealed copy,extremely tiny sleeve marks and even under extreme ligh are very hard to spot and you can count on it that side two certainly is Mint- as is the stunning audio,though all the tracks are clear and have awesome quality sound I have to say that side one also is stunning listen,with personally I feel some of the best prog rock that I have heard and love the blues influence,amazing vocals and every nuance of the music very clearly audible which all together make this a must have album.
The E.J.Day printed gatefold I grade as EX+ and is in super nice condition and would have graded as near mint but,for two very minor stains to the front and has only very minor shelf wear along the edges,the corners show hardly any wear too and the spine is perfect,without any creases and all the lettering is perfect and legible,also the entrance point to the sleeve shows nice,tight and sharp card lines and is nice to see,the inner sleeve is original and has some slight age discoloration but,hardly any creasing and is certainly graded as EX+
All together this is a super set and a real upgrade of a very rare LP and the person who buys this will be delighted to have such a rare and sought after copy in stunning condition and that plays so well,truely stunning audio.
