FANNY ADAMS
"FANNY ADAMS" LP

CONDITION: STILL FACTORY SEALED dj copy
Small bb hole on lower right side of cover; Record store sticker removed from the front shrink wrap (NOT on the cover itself).
Take Vince Melouney of the toytown-period Bee Gees, add Doug Parkinson (of Doug Parkinson In-Focus) and two other good players,
and you have this Australian supergroup of the early 70s. Like most supergroups, they didn't stay together long -- just long enough to release
this one album and a single.
Since this album is sealed, I have not played it, but the tracks I've heard are a lot harder-edged than the material these guys did in the 60s.
It's funny that Melouney (who also produced this) came up with a song called "Got To Get A Message To You".
It sounds nothing like the Bee Gees song with a similar title that was part of his repertoire a few years earlier.
"Ain't No Loving Left" later appeared on the Raven compilation "Golden Mile".
