Description : The late Omar Khorshid is one of the most loved and respected musicians from the middle east, he single-handedly introduced the electric guitar to modern arabic music and created a very individual sound by blending the sound of his 'fender stratocaster' with heavy Hammond organ, Moog sounds and groovy oriental percussion. Among his influences from the west are Dick Dale the founder of the surf guitar sound and the Shadows' Hank Marvin. Omar has performed with the greatest ; Om Kulthum, Abdul Halm Hafez, Abdul Wahab, to name a few.
This is Omar's first Lp as a leader. This is an original first press release on the 'Voice of Lebanon'.
The laminated cover is in Stunning Near Mint condition !!! There are no splits, stickers, tears or anything visually disturbing
The record shows very few signs of age and playing, a few barely visible minor marks that do not affect sound quality at all. It is in very strong Excellent condition to Near Mint !!!
The labels are super clean and the original inner sleeve is intact, as new.
