This release compiles tracks from Gravest Hits, Songs The Lord Taught Us, Psychedelic Jungle And Smell of Female. Similar to the us compilation Bad Music For Bad People. The original 1983 compilation that shimmies through the primordial ooze of The Cramps’ early years with the decadence of a late-night drive-in double feature. This is no garden-variety greatest hits; rather, it’s a hand-curated parade of B-sides, rare 45s, and primordial rumbles from the band’s fertile 1977–1983 period—when Lux Interior and Poison Ivy were conjuring savage rockabilly, haunted by Link Wray and punctuated by the echo of the crypt. The musical notes?
