OZZY OSBOURNE ~ "CAPTURED LIVE! LIVE 1982 LOS ANGELES ~ FEATURING RANDY RHOADS"
LABEL: EMPIRE MATRIX: CL-183 A, B, D, E 2-LP LIVE ~ 1982 Los Angeles
I've been going thru my massive vinyl record collection this summer and pulling out some LPs that I thought that someone else would want for their collection. I've been collecting records for over 40 years and it's time to pass some of them on to the next generation of collectors.
This week on EBay I am offering up this copy of a rare live Ozzy Osbourne 2-LP set from Los Angeles 1982.
I've had this album for many years and up front I should say that it is in pretty rough condition, but I thought an Ozzy or Black Sabbath fan would still like it for their collection.
VINYL: 'POOR' JACKET: 'POORER' MATRIX: CL-183 A, B, D, E

~~~~~~~~~~ OZZY OSBOURNE ~ "CAPTURED LIVE! LIVE 1982 LOS ANGELES ~ FEATURING RANDY RHOADS"
This is a rare live 'Collectors' record featuring Ozzy Osbourne recorded Live in Los Angeles during his 1982 Tour.
The title is "Ozzy Osbourne Featuring Randy Rhoads – Live In L.A. 1982 - Captured Live!" but this album is indeed from an FM Broadcast of his 1982 show in LA, but it does NOT contain Randy Rhodes at all. Brad Gillis is on guitar on these songs.
The band on this 1982 show includes:
Lead Vocals – Ozzy Osbourne Bass Guitar – Rudy Sarzo Drums – Tommy Aldridge Electric Guitar – Brad Gillis
Drummer Tommy Aldridge has his name spelled wrong on the album jacket as 'Tommy Alridge'.
The songs on this 2-LP Live set include:
Over The Mountain Mr. Crowley Crazy Train Suicide Solutions Revelation (Mother Earth) Steal Away (The Night) Goodbye To Romance Iron Man Children Of The Grave Paranoid
'Paranoid' is the last track, but is not listed on the cover.
So, the Jacket is sort of trashed, has Tommy's name wrong, has an incomplete set list and I'm not sure why there is a Grateful Dead 'skull' on the front. Maybe to remind people that Randy Rhodes was dead by this point, famously killed in a plane crash while on the early part of the 1982 tour.
There are great versions of "Crazy Train" and "Mr. Crowley" on this album, but NO randy Rhodes. Brad Gillis, from Night Ranger, plays guitar on this show.
Still, the jacket is sort of 'Cool' in a way, despite it's condition.
If you're reading this you probably already know what this rare record is and why it's still collectible despite it's condition.
The songs were taken from a radio broadcast and the sound quality is quite good, despite the rough condition of the vinyl.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~ CONDITION: I tried to show good hi-resolution photos of the cover, labels and vinyl in my pictures, including all the dings and stains.
This rare record is being sold "As Is" with "No Returns".
VINYL: The vinyl does have a lot of light scratches and a few scuffs. Not the best condition, but not the worst I've seen either. I'd call it a 'Good Minus' condition.
I did NOT play test this record for this listing, It will likely have some pops and clicks and might skip. I honestly don't recall, it's been years since I've played this one. Selling "As Is"
LABELS: The labels are still fantastic. One record has a Blue label with a drawing of a dude reading a newspaper. The other label has an Eagle and the name Empire. Spindle holes are clean and the paper labels look fine.
JACKET: Honestly, the Jacket is a little trashed. Some water damage, or is it Bong water? Some bent corners and general damage. Pretty bad, but I thought someone might still want it anyhow.
Summary: VINYL: 'POOR', JACKET: 'POORER'
This record is being sold rather cheaply. I'm hoping that there's an Ozzy fan out there that would stll like it for their collection. It is Rare and Unusual and copies don't turn up at your local record shop too often. This record is being sold "AS IS" and with "NO RETURNS"

All records have been carefully evaluated and graded by me. I visually inspect all records under bright light, personally gently clean them with a soft cloth and then, if unsure, play them on a modern high-end turntable to get a true picture of condition. Please look at all the high-resolution pictures I added. They are all my own and are of the actual record being sold. The pictures are part of the description and can show small details, label variations, and condition better than I can put into words.
My grading is fair and honest and I will ALWAYS refund you for anything you’re not happy with. I have had over 3,200 happy and satisfied EBay customers over the years, with 100% positive feedback,and I have been buying/selling on EBay for well over 20 years, so please bid with confidence!
I'm a 0ne-man operation, this is a hobby, not my job. I do this for fun. I do this because I love music, love collecting vinyl and want others to share in that same experience. I take my time listening, researching, grading, listing and packaging. I will NOT sell any record that I personally would not want in my collection.
