Excellent Low # Original Beatles White Album!

Here’s a great, complete copy of the original U.S. pressing of the Beatles legendary “White Album”, Apple SWBO-101, bearing the reasonably low number A 0329779. All components are in outstanding condition!

Sleeve:
- Excellent! Clean & lovely, still quite white and remarkably glossy.
- Number A 0329779, amongst the first 11% (or so) of U.S. numbered copies.
- No dirt or smudges; just a little bit of scuffing around the disc outline.
- To be really picky, there is a small lightly discolored spot near the bottom left edge of the front cover. Also, about 1” of the bottom right corner of the front slick had come loose and been bent backward; this has been neatly re-glued. Both of these items can be seen in the pictures.
- Spine is solid with only light wear. Text is plainly visible.
- Inside is beautiful and bears “SWBO 101” text only (no Apple copyright). Centerfold has a 2” split in the slick on the left side, but doesn’t look bad.
- Front cover had partial seam splits which have been neatly and solidly repaired; back cover seams are intact.
- Opening edges are sharp and unfeathered. Corners have minor wear but no significant bumping.
- A fab cover!

Vinyl Visually (viewed under a high-intensity lamp):
- Fantastic! Easily near-mint, except for a small scuff between “Birthday” and “Yer Blues”. A few tiny sleeve extraction hairlines if you really search. A beautiful, deep gloss remains.
- Clean & lovely 1st-press labels (Capitol logo on sliced-apple sides). No writing, no wear, no spindle marks. The Side 2 label has a bit of ink smearing from the application of label text (see picture).
- Proper titles for relevant tracks (Cont’g Story of Bungalow Bill, Ob-la-di, Rev 1/9 & Good Night).
- Both discs are unbanded pressings.

Critical Vinyl Play-grade (through headphones):
- Disc 1 plays beautifully, an easy NM. The music throughout is clear, bright, and undistorted. I noticed just a little crackle during “Why Don’t We Do It in The Road” and again toward the end of “Julia”, but this may be native to the vinyl.
- Disc 2 also plays magnificently, except for the small scuff mentioned above, which is lightly audible but does not skip. Also heard a couple of pops in “Mother Nature’s Son”, a light multi-rev tick leading into “Honey Pie”, and one at the very end of “Good Night”; otherwise super-clean.
- A wonderful listen overall!

Poster & Pics:
- Pics are thin-paper prints, each in a plastic bag with a cardboard stiffener. Certainly not the original US heavy-stock prints. Not sure of their pedigree, but nice enough.
- Poster is a superb NM! No writing, only a few handling marks, and solid folds that are among the most “intactest” that I’ve encountered. Excellent!

Paper sleeves are included, although the discs are in new poly sleeve liners.
