Description
The Beatles-"White Album", a 2 LP set, Apple SWBO-101, very first 1968 pressing with the shortened "Bungalow Bill" song title on side one. Only the very first pressings of this LP have this label error. This also contains all four of the other first pressing label errors: 1) "Obladi Oblada" doesn't have the hyphens in the title; 2 & 3)"Revolution No. 1" & "Revolution No. 9" instead of "Revolution 1" & "Revolution 9", and 4)"Goodnight" instead of "Good Night". Perimeter print also has the Capitol records logo. Numbered cover, with an extremely low number of 0022263. Numbered covers below 100,000 are very scarce; below 50,000 scarcer still, below 25,000-well, honestly, I've only seen three this low in 40 years of collecting. Vinyl is VISUALLY graded by Goldmine standards. Both LP's are in VG+ condition, with a several very, very light marks. LP labels are in NM condition. The cover is in strong VG condition; it's overall very white with just a tiny bit of the typical ring wear associated with this cover. The top and bottom seams have been partially repaired (glued, not taped). This is actually one of the nicer covers I've seen lately, as these covers are so prone to damage. The four individual portraits are included. They have been displayed at some point as there are a couple of small tape remnants on a couple and some evidence of previous tape on the others.
