Composed by Miguel and Roberto on guitars, Eduardo on drums and Taco no Baixo, Os Brazões was the band that accompanied Gal Costa in the late 60's. They cultivated a style immersed in tropicalism, with high doses of psychedelia, evidenced by Roberto's fuzz guitar And Miguel's wah wah guitar. The rich work of percussion, the lyrics in Portuguese and the recurrent use of regional rhythms, complete the sonorous formula of the Brazões. The Brazões is one of the most intriguing bands of Brazilian psychedelia. This record, which at certain moments seems to be ahead of its time, with elaborate brush strokes of rock and even fusion, is unfortunately the only legacy of the band.
