Description

This auction is for a 1st Edition version of Public Image Limited - Metal Box. 
This item has been stored and displayed well in a clean environment. Dusted regularly and handled with care.
While this item is in near-mint condition it must be said that the box has never been opened and the records inside have not been played. This is due to the fact that I have never been able to open the box, and feared prying it would cause damage. I have added a picture of the one imperfection in the box that is either the culprit for it remaining sealed - or just a coincidental imperfection.
This item is best suited to someone who is an avid collector of PiL, looking for a 1st Edition best available mint to near mint version of Metal Box - but already have the vinyl to spin. Attempting to open it yourself is at your own discretion once the item is yours.
I don't want to give up this keepsake, it has been a definite conversation piece over the years I've owned it. However I am returning to the UK (where it originated) and unfortunately most of my valuables have to take second place to getting back home.
