Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office.Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has become very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable and will result in blocking the bidder. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery.   We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. ORIGINAL 70's first pressing by this TOP rated Krautrock band who delivered a very accessible, fan favorite progressive style with keyboards and guitars... 

Originally born as a German-British band, the music of MESSAGE oscillates between a substantial heavy rock and a nice folk rock articulated around a range of keyboards arrangements. Their first album (The Dawn Anew Is Coming) was recorded under the direction of the famous musical engineer Dieter Dierks. The result sounds remarkably as British progressive rock of the moment. Very melodic, with a ravishing and an accomplished lyrical sense of composition backed by textured & layer guitar & keyboard. Their following album ("From Books And Dreams") is as great and better than the previous one, delivering impressive, extended, mainly instrumental heavy/ space rock tracks which can be compared (in some parts) to NEKTAR's first Lp "Journey To The Center Of The Eye".  "ASTRAL JOURNEY" from the later 70's is a rather hard rock/prog style in the vein of Eloy or Jane. Lacking a full-time keyboardist, bassist Reiner Nagel doubles on keys, including lots of Hawkwind-style freakout synth stuff on the adventurous "Feeling So High" and the dark and histrionic "All In A Dream".

The album's prog epic is the textural, almost meditative "This Life Is Short", complete with philosophical lyrics. The album's actually fairly diverse sounding, exploring varied styles "Places", folk-rock on "City of Fright" and philosophical dreamy keyboard  "I Feel Glad". The latter is practically a'cappella, with piano backing played by Nektar's Allan Freeman.

Overall a pretty consistent Lp that should be of interest to Krautrock collectors.
