Description
ORANGE JUICE: Bridge - 7” Acetate
This is a 7” single-sided acetate/dubplate of the Orange Juice track, Bridge, subsequently released as a single in 1984 by Polydor with catalogue number OJ5.
It has a Utopia Blue Room label, with the recording studio details on the rim and band and track name hand written on it. The material is very thick and heavy, as is typical of acetate. It has a few light scuffs, but plays really well. It’s only had a few plays to avoid degradation of the material. It’s been carefully cleaned with distilled water. There are no matrix codes or catalogue number. It comes in a generic black paper sleeve.
We’ve been trying to research this, but it appears to be one of a kind as there is no mention anywhere of any other acetates of this track. It was given to my husband in the 1980s by a friend who shared a flat with Edwyn Collins at that time.
