Description

Radio show transcription disc produced by The Armed Forces Radio & Television Service.  One complete 30 minute program, one complete 15 minute program and one complete 10 minute program on this 16 inch, vinyl, 33 1/3 rpm disc.  This disc was issued to radio stations for broadcast only and not available to the general public, very rare!

"One Night Stand" radio program #5095 featuring Lawrence Welk & His Orchestra from The Aragon Ballroom in Ocean Park, Santa Monica, CA.  Songs include "Somebody Loves Me", "Exactly Like You" vocal Larry Dean, "Bim Bam Boom", "How Is The Hour" vocal Dick Dale, "Lucille", "Beyond The Blue Horizon", "One Morning In May" featuring Jimmy Henderson on trombone, "My Little Red Wagon" vocal Bob Ledo, "It's Delightful To Be Married", "The Toreador Song", "Happy Anniversary" vocal Dick Dale, "I'm Forever Blowing Bubbles / Let The Rest Of The World Go By" .  30 minutes

"Science Editor" radio program #162.  This is an interesting program produced by The University Of California featuring host and "Science Editor" Hale Sparks who discusses three topics: "Headaches", "Pilot (air) Speed" & "Tektites" (moon fragments).  Hale Sparks is assisted by announcer Hugh Douglas.  A very interesting show!  15 minutes

"Just Entertainment" radio program #915 starring Pat Buttram.   Songs include "How Come You Do Me Like You Do" vocal Marion Morgan, "Down By The Riverside" vocal Jack Halloran Quartet.  Lots of home-spun comedy by Pat Buttram.  10 minutes
