Description
This is a VERY RARE, GOOD CONDITION (B. Side has small white mark, see pictures for detail, that looks like a manufacturers defect, as I have no turntable, sorry to say I cannot tell you if it affects play, but to be honest I expect that it will HENCE LOW STARTING PRICE! Normally this would sell for between £100 to £150), UN-PLAYED, 2 TRACK, DJ 12” UK SINGLE by OASIS.

VERY NICE PIECE OF OASIS MEMORABILIA.
A question that I often get asked is, if it’s an un-played record why do you describe it as ‘very good condition’ when it should be ‘excellent’ or ‘mint’?
The answer to that is that nearly all the records that I’m selling are from my own private collection that I have acquired over a 30+ years period, during which time they have been neatly stacked on shelves, in boxes and at the back of the ‘magic’ wardrobe and during that time Mr. Naughty Superficial Dust and very occasionally the odd hair from my Hound from Hell (I have a Jack Russell) slip through security and take residence on the surface of the record, and that superficial dust and occasional dog hair is evident when I take the record out of it’s sleeve to check for scratches or manufacturing defects and will still be in evidence when you take it out of it’s sleeve for the first time, hence the ‘very good condition’ description. BUT I ASSURE YOU IF I SAY THE RECORD IS UN-PLAYED IT IS UN-PLAYED.
There is also the fact that some horrible worm like being, who resides thousands of miles away, upon receiving the item that I had described as ‘un-played’ and ‘excellent’ emailed to say that he was not happy with my ‘excellent’ description as it had a ‘superficial’ scratch on one of the vinyl’s surfaces, checking his feedback scores it’s obviously something that he does regularly and has one very insulting and offensive reply to any criticism that is thrown his way. If he’d been paying ‘top dollar’ for the item I would be concerned, but when your talking about £3 or £4 I find it puzzling that someone can get so upset. But upset he was which in turn made me upset, so I not only refunded his payment (including postage) but told him to keep the record as a gesture of good will. He emailed me, not to say thanks, but to point out that he was going to put the item back up for sale with a description of ‘very good condition’ (he actually put it back up with a description of ‘very good condition to excellent’ and I’m happy to report sold it for less than he’d originally paid) and ever since that experience I am very reluctant to use the word ‘excellent’ as I want 100% customer satisfaction only.
