a recent estate find along with some others i shall be listing shortly..
this listing is for
JOHN AND THE WIERDEST - " CAN'T GET OVER THESE MEMORIES " / " NO TIME " TIE. T-101
This is the ORIGINAL 1967 U.S. PRESSING. Solid black non-transparent or translucent vinyl. Deadwax markings : T-101-A, circle with a faint Z/C inside, triangle symbol followed by 68365, b-side has 68365-x.
it's a classic and on many D.J.s' best of lists. This was a floorfiller at the Wigan Casino, Twisted Wheel, The Torch, Blackpool Mecca and many more. The John is the same Johnny Hendley who did "My Baby Came From Out of Nowhere" Mutt & Jeff Records #19.

Condition : I like to think I grade relatively conservatively.. grade of VG+ or EX, fully glossy rarely played, clean wear free labels, there are a few very small faint marks visible under a strong light , both sides sound very strong just a smidge of background hiss at the beginning of the intro. I sell many types of things on eBay but I have sold many records over several decades so please trust in my experience and positive feedback. You may remember me from a few years ago when I turned up and listed a NM copy of the Inspirations "No One Else Can Take Your Place" on Breakthrough. a note on the letters in the circle stamped into the deadwax. they could also be read to be a stylized uppercase A and a lowercase c next to it. i guess zoom in on the picture and judge for yourself
