Up for auction is a near mint condition Nitty Gritty Record Cleaning machine. I purchased this new about five years ago and paid over $500 for the system. The system work perfectly. I plugged it in and checked all of the moving parts including turn drive and vaccuum and it works great. Other than a few scuffs there is no damage to this system. . . it really is like new. I just do not need it any more so my loss is your gain. If you have never looked into this type of system I can tell you it is the top of the line for record buffs. It cleans most record types including 45s and LPs. There is a special adapter (included) for 45s. The system uses a specially formulated solution (you'll need to order some directly from Nitty Gritty) which is dispensed onto the vinyl and as the record turns the sweep unit, with thousands of tiny fibers that gently scrubs, cleans years of grit and grime off of your records. Then turn on the vaccuum and the residue is removed. The whole process takes maybe a minute. If you are an audiophile you know the quality of this system. It is truely unparalelled in the industry. This comes with the original owners manual and instruction sheet for cleaning 45s. It also includes the foam pad for albums which I have never used. I no longer have the original box but will pack it securely in bubble wrap to protect it in shipment. This system is a Model 2.5 Fi, 120 volts, 50/60 Hz. The serial number is 25270.
