Description

This auction is for an extremely rare copy of Nirvana’s first album, Bleach. There have been many color vinyl editions of this album since its initial release in 1989, but this is one of the rarest and most interesting of such releases.

Released as a “Splattered Vinyl” edition, the disc is a very cool mix of red and white vinyl (see pictures). Not only was it release as a color vinyl but was also issued with a copy of the Sub Pop single release of Nirvana’s Sliver on Blue Vinyl. This release is a numbered limited edition with only 500 copies pressed. The copy being auctioned is numbered 140.

This album has been in my collection for about 15 years. I bought this album sealed, but opened it too see what was inside. The numbered sticker was originally attached to the shrink wrap but I pealed it off and stuck it too the sleeve so as not to lose it. The bottom corner of the albums sleeve is creased, and there is some very minor scuffing around the edges of the sleeve. I’ve played the disc a few times but it’s still in very nice condition. It would probably grade about Ex.

For those of you who are in for a little more detail here is what the matrix number reads: L-32926 k-disc ch.

Don't miss out on this super rare, and one of the best vinyl versions of Bleach. If anyone has any further questions please feel free to contact me! Thanks for looking.
