Description

This is my fully original 1972 copy of Pink Moon bought from Selectadisc in Nottingham when first released, it has been through over 25 house moves and is in remarkable condition for its age and plays extremely well

There is foxing to the labels, as can be seen in the photos

Matrix numbers are ILPS 9184 A-1U & ILPS 9184 B-1U showing that it was pressed at the EMI factory, Island not having their own pressing plant

If you are reading this then you will already know everything there is to know about this glorious album and Nick's music, one of the greatest musicians that we have ever produced

I have now played all LP on the following equipment:

 

Rega Planar 25 turntable with RB600 tonearm and Elys 2 MMC

Rega Mira 3 amplifier

KEF Q5 speakers

 

I can say that the LP plays very well with little discernible background noise at all.  The vinyl is bright and only one or two light scuffs that do not affect playing quality.
