Nick Drake - "Fruit Tree"
This is a 4 LP vinyl box set of Nick Drake recordings released by Hannibal Records in London. It includes a 16 page book and the following records:
- Five Leaves Left
- Bryter Layter
- Pink Moon
- Time Of No Reply (a 14 track collection including 10 previously unreleased recordings)
I purchased this set new and it is part of my personal collection. The records have rarely been played and are in great condition, with the only play being on "high-end" turntables (Linn or Rega). The surface of the records are clean, but the box does show slight wear from use & storage over time. For some reason, the sleeves for each of the records are slightly large than the box (go figure) so the sleeves have some curl to them from storage, but this has no effect on the records whatsoever. This collection has been stored at my home in a climate controlled, smoke-free environment since I purchased it new.
This is one of a series of vinyl recordings I'll be posting over the next couple of days. Titles will include a number of "Audiophile" pressings of classical music, a great collection of John Coltrane records being sold together as a set, a Miles Davis Prestige box set, an Atlantic Records R&B box set & a Simon & Garfunkel box set.
