Description
Nice VG Mono 1st Pressing of Duke Pearson’s superlative and very hard to find 1960 LP Profile, Blue Note BLP 4022. This is the original pressing with deep groove labels featuring “47 W 63rd NYC” address. Plastylite “Ear” and RVG stamped in the deadwax.
Vinyl: VG. Vinyl has great sound and plays well without skips or jumps, but background can be a bit noisy if you are used to dead silent records. Music always dominates and comes thorough loud and clear via RVG’s stellar production. Record has numerous marks and streaks but these are cosmetic only and have no effect on play. Deep groove labels are clean and clear; initials of previous owner written in purple marker on Side 1 label.
Jacket: VG+. Front and back are clean with some foxing and a tiny bit of paper flaking on top. Laminated front photo in good shape overall. Otherwise in solid structural shape without any seam splits or fractures.
LP will come in protective Mobile Fidelity archive-quality sleeve. Cover will come in thick vinyl protective sleeve.
