Description
Never Released Billy Preston Club Meetin' Capitol MONO T-2607 RARE and ROCKIN!
KILLER live Billy Preston performance that was never released for sale. So rare that only 4 sales of the LP have been recorded by Popsike.com Rare Rare Auction Results. Mr. Preston plays excellent versions of classic blues standards as "Hoochie Coochie Man" and "Summertime". The finishes off with a funky James Brown Medley. I do not know why Capitol decided to withdraw this LP from the public, but it was surely missed. Here is your chance to own and listen to this extremely rare recording.
Vinyl: Playgrades and visually as a VG- with approximately 5 barely noticeable skips on either side (mostly on the outer grooves). The rest of the LP plays as a VG with light background noise and occasional VG+ with little to zero background noise. This was played on a Numark 'table and may not even skip on better quality 'tables. Cleaned on a VPI HW17 and stored in a poly lined paper inner.
Cover: VG-, top and bottom seam are repaired very nicely with clear tape, promo hole in top right corner, Spine is full and fully read-able. Original inner is also included.
