Orig. Released: 1980 - Record Label: Capitol Records(US) Song Listing: America - Adon Olom - You Baby - Love on the Rocks - Amazed and Confused - On the Robert E. Lee - Summer Love - Hello Again - Acapulco - Hey Louise - Songs of Life - Jerusalem - Kol Nidre/My Name is Yussel - America (Reprise) Neil Diamond's biggest selling album in the United States, selling over 5 million copies and reaching #3 on the pop albums chart. This was passed along to me with other Test Pressings from a friend, who was a neighbor of a widow of a former studio engineer. Where he got it I'm not sure. I've owned it for about five years. This may also be a Promotional Sample. I have taken the album out of the protective inner sleeve once for visual inspection - I Never played it!. The LP looks vibrantly clean with reflective rainbows from the track grooves. Side A and Side B look great!. Neither side shows evidence of a cleaning solution. The Printed Vinyl LP Labels read Test Pressing, Side A and Side B have no hand writing. The Exterior Album Cover is all white - in red pen is written "The Jazz Singer - Neil Diamond". Album Cover - Good Vinyl LP - (A) Excellent, (B) Excellent Record Condition Rating System (updated 6/13/2009)
New - Factory Sealed
Excellent - Visually Flawless record w/ close inspection of being very gently used
Very Good - Minor scuffing at most
Good - Evidence of finger prints scuffing and/or smudging (no visible scratches)
Acceptable - Light Scratch or 2, w/ scuffs and/or smudging
Fair - Few scratches and scuffging
Poor - Significant scratching
