Naked Raygun - Basement Screams 12" EP - RUTHLESS RECORDS - RRNR03 - FIRST PRESS - SUPER RARE & OOP Naked Raygun are easily in my list of top 5 bands to emerge from Chicago.  They provided the inspiration for countless other bands, such as Big Black (Albini snagged up Santiago Durango and Jeff Pezzati from NR for his own group), the Effigies, Bhopal Stiffs, and Pegboy.  Even Dave Grohl has waxed philosophic about the legendary group on a recent episode of "Sonic Highways", which is pretty awesome indeed to see the band getting some seriously overdue exposure and recognition on HBO.  
This is Naked Raygun's first record and it is the original Ruthless Records vinyl press from 1983.  The vinyl is in excellent condition - I just played it and it sounds fantastic.  Super quiet and it sounds smashing.  You probably won't find an original copy that sounds this good anywhere!  It looks like this record was once owned by a college station, but I doubt it was ever played, considering the grooves look and sound great!  The labels on the vinyl have a "Received" stamp on them from the station.  The lyric insert is in excellent condition as well.  The sleeve itself has edge wear and ring wear on it.  Someone wrote on the back, "All good tunes" (which is true!).  All this is detailed in my photos.  
I have been an avid music collector for over 30 years now but due to space limitations I am looking to slim my collection down a bit.  Please give this item a happy home!  It has always been exceptionally well cared for and been in a smoke-free environment.
