GRADING SYSTEM

NM = Near Mint: record and cover appears in nearly new condition. Record has no hairlines or scuffs and plays like new with no noise.

 

EX = Excellent: record may have a few slight surface marks whilst most should be inaudible, but sometimes may cause tics or occasional surface noise. Cover may have a little wear or some blemishes, corners may be slightly burred.

VG = Very Good: record may have some audible marks, details are indicated.  Record plays with mild surface noise, but should sound fine overall. Cover may have moderate ring and/or edge wear, tears or discolouring.

All records are examined carefully visually and aurally. The records that have no visual surface marks are listened about 30-60 seconds at the beginning of each side. If the marks discovered, I listen to the marked places. Results are displayed at RECORD CONDITION DETAILS if defects are audible and louder than surface noise. Testing equipment: REGA PLANAR 3 with DYNAVECTOR DV-20XL cartridge, AURA VA-100II amplifier, B&W MATRIX 805 speakers, WIRE WORLD cables.

I do not offer records in MINT condition, because Eastern Europe records did not produced sealed ever. And I can not be assured in MINT condition for opened items. I do not offer any item in condition worse than VG for international sales. No matter how rare it is.
