Description
Hello and welcome to one of my auctions! I am a record collector for over 15 years now and I think it’s about time to sell a couple records to make some room and pass it on to another collector. This week’s auctions feature my 60’s beat and psych and some 70’s progressive records that are from my own personal collection, so here we go!
On offer, an extremely rare 1st U.K. pressing of Nucleus – Elastic Rock on the SWIRL VERTIGO label, cat. no. 6360 008, with the BIG SWIRL logo on the B-side.
The record is in EX minus condition, there are a couple non-sounding hairlines only. The A-side label is in EX condition, there are a couple spindle marks only. The B-side label has a retailer’s stamp and also a couple spindle marks, so I’ll grade the B-side label VG+.
The cover is in VG to VG+ condition, the main damage is a fold on the die-cut hole. There is also some light ring wear on both front and back, but besides above mentioned defects, this cover looks very presentable to me. Unfortunately the original Vertigo Swirl inner sleeve is missing.
Although not in a dream Mint condition, this pressing of the first Nucleus album is very rare indeed. Also the condition of the record is great. It plays really well with only an occasional pop. This album is a must have for all Ian Carr (and Nucleus), neo-jazz and / or Vertigo collectors!

Please also note that the shipping costs are the same for 1 LP as for up to 5 LPs (the Dutch postal services charges the same amount up to 2KGs) So If you buy more, the shipping costs for your other LP’s are basically for free.
