ULTRA RARE!! ----- THE NO NECK BLUES BAND ---- on Sound@One #1 ---- first lp in a long series of NNCK releases. VERY LIMITED, reportedly only 300 pressed in a Deluxe Hand-Screen Printed fold-open cover on Thick Card Stock paper with Title cardboard band. ORIGINAL and TOTALLY UNAVAILABLE in ANY FORM....

Cover is Near Perfect, however due to thick ink used in printing, some minor tears occured on inside of gatefold - which is an inevitable downside to this beautiful packaging and most likely is present in all copies. Vinyl appears to be unplayed - will grade as NM.

"The No Neck Blues Band, adrift in the ozone-tinged air of lower & upper Manhattan for nearly a ghost decade, stood at a fork. To one side lay the path to continued avoidance of human contact, and lifetimes of hemeretic improvisational events. To the other side was the trail into a kind of new free-pub-fat-rock dynamism, attaching the head of Lou Gare to the body of Martin Stone. Which way they would go was never predictable. The myriad recordings & performances that No Neck produced during their first half-life existed more in the realm of spirit than of flesh. Even those who witnessed the performances or beheld the recordings had difficulty in ultimately grasping them. The faces of No Neck were transitory, in all senses of the word. Rock gesture, drone gesture, folk gesture, improv gesture, all of them traced smoky features across the band's collective visage, shifting like a big cloud of burned & exhaled cheeb....Dig them now." --Byron Coley

I use brand new Bags Unlimited mailers with cardboard insert, records are shipped with vinyl in inner sleeve outside cover (unless sealed!) and protected in a new/unused 3mil poly outer sleeve, I have shipped literally thousands of rare records to nearly every location around the world - and I believe I have NEVER had a complaint!

And now something about ME... I have been dealing records internationally for about seven years, starting out in Indianapolis at Aether/OR records distributing scarce psychedelic, progressive, garage, space rock, Kraut rock, etc reissues worldwide. Also during this time I created mail order lists of rare original pressings for a shop also in Indianapolis called Missing Link (a highly regarded store also specializing in rare psych, jazz, punk and everything else!). With Missing link I also was in charge of shipping (also world wide) keeping track of payments, grading, cleaning, etc of said records. Since then I have been dealing lps in the Northampton, MA area selling thousands of hard to find albums encompassing most genres. I am an avid collector of 60s psych, garage, punk, wave and the unusual since I was about 10 years old! which means 25 years of collecting. If in the New England area, please check out my shop!
