Description
This is a NEW SEALED LP of Bert Sommer The Road To Travel on Capitol Records ST-189 from 1968. There are no cutouts. It shows cover wear but it looks to be mostly, if not all on the shrink wrap itself. I can't guarantee this though. There is a tiny amount of paint missing from the upper right and left corners at the points. The shrink is torn at the opening for 5 inches in the center where the LP opens. It is nearly impossible for me to get a decent photo of dark covered LPs because of the glare and reflection of the shrink wrap. I'm sorry I could not do better with this one.
Produced by Artie Kornfeld who is famous for having been one of the four men that put the Woodstock Festival together in 1969. Bert Sommer performed on that first day of Woodstock, August 15, 1969. This is a great album by one of the best and most overlooked singer-songwriters in music. Unfortunately he left this world on July 23, 1990. Finding a copy of this LP in this condition, sealed and without a cutout, is nearly impossible. There may not be another out there.
