The First To Pay LP by NEW RACE ( Ex Radio Birdman) was released in 1989 on the French label, Revenge Records. Revenge Records secured from Ron Asheton a set of cassettes which had been dubbed from unmixed 24 track master tapes, recorded during the New Race Australian tour in 1981.

These cassette copies of the master tapes, from which the "official" First & Last album was culled, were in the possession of Ron Asheton. Ron, who felt that the band had never been adequately compensated by the tour or official record release, was happy to release the tapes to Revenge.

This album contains different songs to the New Race – First & The Last LP. It was released on vinyl in a limited run of only 500 copies, all on green vinyl. I purchased this LP new in 1989, and it has NEVER BEEN PLAYED! It is long deleted. MINT. The album has great liner notes by Ron Asheton.

EBay’s Unpaid Item policy requires buyers to pay the seller for the items that they commit to purchase. All this hassle can be avoided simply by paying for your win within the 5 day payment period.

PACKAGING / POSTING DETAILS: Records are posted within two working days of payment arriving. Records are packaged carefully (we are after all record collectors ourselves) using cardboard. We guarantee the condition of the records and their covers/inserts etc are accurately described and any photos we use are of the actual record/cover/insert for sale. We cannot however, guarantee the safety of your purchase once it is in the hands of the postal services, so for this reason registered post is included in the postage price for all buyers, both in Australia and international buyers.

Overseas buyers please recognise that geographically, Australia is a long way from the rest of the world and Australia Post postal charges tend to reflect this. As a seller, to qualify for PayPal Seller Protection against buyers who claim they haven't received an item they've bought from us, we must be able to present to PayPal a copy of the shipping receipt that includes the eBay buyer's delivery address. Therefore, all orders will be posted using Australia Post's Registered Post International services. Your postage price incorporates the registered post fee.

Registered Post International offers added security service for items, proof of posting, and a signature on delivery. It offers reliable delivery within three to ten business days between metropolitan areas of major cities. A couple of extra dollars is a small price to pay to ensure that your item arrives.

Disc grading: Note: We will only use a mint grading for a record we know to have been unplayed. Please note that all record are graded visually only.

MINT:  RECORD: New condition with no surface marks or loss of sound quality.

COVER: New condition with no surface marks or wear.

NEAR MINT: RECORD: Barely noticeable surface mark with no loss of sound quality. COVER: Barely noticeable surface mark/ wear.

EXCELLENT: RECORD: Some signs of being played with extremely little if no loss of sound quality. COVER: Slight wear.

VERY GOOD:  RECORD: Obviously been played with noticeable surface marks & the occasional light scratches but exhibits no major loss of sound quality.

COVER: Noticeable wear. Slight writing/ stains.

GOOD: RECORD: Very obviously been played with very noticeable surface marks & exhibits major loss of sound quality. COVER: Noticeable wear. Much writing/ stains.

FAIR:  RECORD: Still just playable & exhibits considerable surface noise.

COVER: Major tears, wearing, writing & stains.

POOR:  RECORD: Will not play properly due to scratches etc. COVER: Very badly damaged.
