Description
New Order - Official American Music Industry Award
This is a genuine RIAA American music industry Gold Disc Award from 1989 for 500,000 sales of New Order’s album, ‘Technique’. This award measures 17x21 inches (43x53cms) and is in good condition. There are a few minor marks on the frame, but nothing noticeable once it’s hanging on the wall. The award features the RIAA hologram to indicate its authenticity, alongside a plaque that reads:

RIAA (Recording Industry Association of America) awards are the American equivalent of British BPI awards, and are only presented to artists, producers, record companies and others in the music industry that contributed to the success of a record. This is an official music industry award and should not be confused with any kind of replica or ‘limited edition’ discs that are sold direct to the public.
