Jamm "I Want" (Radio Jamm 7" Vocal Version), "I Want" (Party Jamm 12" Vocal Version), "I Want" (Toast & Jamm Club Version 7"), "I Want" (Toe Jamm Dub Version 7"), and "I Want" (Single Edit Video Mix Edit) 33.3 RPM double set of 12" single-sided ACETATES on Bernie Grundman Mastering for Island Records from 09/26/1990. This is truly an AMAZING collectible!!!  Make sure you listen to the whole sound sample, as there's some great versions of this song, but more importantly, some really AWESOME beats and samples that'll make any DJ or Producer dream about spinning these tracks or beats!!!!!

The best I can determine from what I found on the web is that this song appeared on Jamm's second album, which was titled "I Want", but what I can't actually find, is whether these great tracks found on these ACETATES were ever released as a 7" or 12" single, and in light of the inclusion of a "video edit" on these ACTEATES, it appears that there may have been a music video released, although I can't actually find it on YouTube. With all this said, these ACETATES just may be as SUPER RARE as they appear to be!!! This set came form the collection of a record company executive, and although I can't find any further info about this release, by what I seem to remember, is that he was involved with Island Records, and I vaguely remember that this exec was involved with the Jamm project. I've attached a 10:42 sound sample of each song/side below, which is from the actual record in this auction, so make sure you give it a listen!

Just a note for those unfamiliar with metal acetates - these records are extra heavy from the center of the record being made of metal. These records are the first versions ever made from the master tapes (even before test pressings or promo copies and sound the best) for the purpose of feedback on the mix by those involved in the recording process. These discs were expensive to make, so very few, if no more than a couple are usually made and as you can imagine, these discs are quite RARE and sometimes the mixes can be different from the final release, if they were released at all. These were never meant to be available to the public, so in you're a fan or collector, now's your chance to get something extrememely RARE!!!

The white and yellow labeled ACETATES of these 12"ers are in NEAR MINT condition! Please take a look at the photos below of each side of the label to view the label condition. This 12"er comes in the original white and yellow Bernie Grundman Mastering single-sided sleeve that's in good condition with a large bend/crease to the top and bottom right corners, light aging, storage wear, and lightly dinged corners. This is a really RARE & COOL Jamm/Acetate collectible, make sure you bid today!!!
