Napalm Death hit the jackpot with this album by bringing huge, cleaver and powerful riffs with extremly fast drumming and those cookie monster vocals that we all love.
You have "Barney" doing what "Barney" does best, which is yell, scream and growl but their is defently a effect on his voice which gives it a more Grind and mechanical feel to it. He does some sort of singing while yelling thing at some stages in the album which shows a bit of diversity without feeling like hes trying to hard or going over board.
Mitch Harris is pulling out these monterous riffs that realy grab you by the balls and don't let go, these are realy the most intense and interesting riffs Napalm Death have ever written.
There are some realy slow earth shatering riffs aswell as your usual shreding riffs.
But the thing is that they are never repeated to often or sound recycled, Harris is always pulling out somthing new, the riffs are without a doubt the hilight of thie record.
Shane Embury's bass is good but can barely be heard over the powerful riff of Harris, i think this would be even better with some sort of Progy, Necrophagist type of bass, just to give it that polished edge.
Danny Herrera's drums are well.. simply superb, this is Death Metal drumming at it's finest and thats that.   WHY NOT CHECK OUT MY EBAY STORE -
