Description

About This Record.  This is the super rare first version of Mu’s LP, Jeff Cotton, Randy Wimer, and Larry Willey!  Psych, Prog killer LP!  Mu was Merrill Fankhouser’s band and this is an extremely rare item!  No Reserve!  Have Fun!  I believe only 100 copies were pressed.  While this white label promo version is more common than the stock yellow label copy, it is extremely rare!  See my CAS yellow stock label version and scarce Restless Records reissue too!  If you lose on this one, and the second CAS pressing, . . .well there is the also rare Restless Records pressing which will be waiting for you with a mere starting price of $19.57.  HAVE FUN

Please note that I work for eBay and eBay company policy requires that I inform any potential bidders of this fact, and direct them through this link to the Code I have to abide by as an eBay employee:  http://pages.ebay.com/help/policies/everyone-employee.html No, I don't work in the collectibles division or anything, I'm just a regular eBay employee like you and me who lives near San Jose and is a vinyl hound but is required to tell you this.

Vinyl Condition.  The white label promo vinyl looks EX+ on one side and plays NM-; other side looks VG because of one very noticeable stylus mark (which cannot be felt with your finger) over the side.  That side, while it looks VG, plays EX- or so with just a few pops and ticks that are noticeable for about 15 seconds overall.  The stylus scratch/scuff (see photo) looks much worse than it is but that's why I grade VG anyway.  A very powerful record.  Very very heavy vinyl too!

Label Condition.  Good!  Lots of writing in black marker, sorry!  Maybe Fair . . . depends on your disgust about these things which are necessarily sometimes a part of all promotional cool vinyl items . . . because the DJs were just trying to do their job!  And not be fired!  For playing such subversive music!

Cover Condition.  Good Plus.  Strong spine and seams, but there is a tear top left on front cover that wraps over onto the back cover where it looks like a DJ sticker was removed.  There is also writing on the back cover in the delicate foil, which you can see if you hold the cover at an angle against the light, which says “Only play these cuts”, and then the first song on each side is underscored with a pencil or pen or something; not so noticeable, but most definitely there!

About Me.  I have been a Record Collector for over 35 years.  With two kids in college, I often sell records so I can buy more vinyl or, in this case, pay the last college tuition bills of the year!  99% of what I sell is vinyl; read my Feedback! Common LPs are a waste of your time and mine!    I bought this many years ago during my travels and have kept in well preserved.  This comes in a new rice paper equivalent sleeve, and new 4 mil plastic sleeve.

Shipping and Payment.  PayPal only.  I ship promptly worldwide and do not overcharge for shipping . . . contact me if you paid more than the USPS postage sticker on your package and I’ll happily refund you the difference.  I will ship by any method you want.  But if you do not insure, the record will be shipped at your own risk.  I offer full refund on this record including shipping both ways.  CALIFORNIA RESIDENTS:  Please add sales tax.
