Description

An original 2nd issue of the Motorhead debut on Chiswick records from 1979. Matrix A1U/B1U. The heavy-set vinyl comes housed in an original Robert Stace cover with the Nazi symbol atop the head on the middle spike. Also, rather amusingly, they spelt Lemmy's second name "Kilmister" incorrectly several times on the rear - adding an 'n'! We have a black inner sleeve - which looks good..but it is not THE original.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex+) In lovely condition and has only seen light use. Under close inspection we could only make out a couple of light marks either side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an, at least, EXCELLENT level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are very nice and quiet and the audio comes across with great clarity. I could only detect a few crackles in a couple of isolated moments. And, to be honest, against the barrage of Motorhead playing hardly anything vaguely noticeable.
Cover (Vg+) In great shape and has clearly been looked after down the years. Nice and clean front and back - certainly not perfect, but way better than most examples that surface. There's a bit of edge wear in places, but nothing significant. All the text on the spine is still legible. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Ex+) But it is brand-new!
