MOSAIC MR5-114   ART HODES  The Complete Blue Note Sessions

A long-deleted 5LP box set,  made by this respected piano player/band leader, covering all the recordings that were originally intended for issue on Blue Note. This has the usual luxury booklet with high-definition photographs, full track listings and discographical details. (More information on request.) Mosaic managed to find no less than 9 unissued performances/alternate takes from these historic 1944-45 sessions.

DESCRIPTION/CONDITION : The discs are E+ (VG++), 'as new' apart from some very light scuffs, only seen under a bright 'grading' light. The box is E (VG+), with small seam splits in the middle of three seams at the back and some edge/surface rubbing down the front right hand side.
