Description

    "Interlude" is a single by Morrissey and Siouxsie Sioux released in August 1994, and credited to "Morrissey & Siouxsie".

    The track was recorded during the recording sessions for Morrissey's Vauxhall and I album, and was produced by Morrissey guitarist and musical director Boz Boorer. The song was first featured in the 1968 film of the same name and was sung by Timi Yuro.

    Soon after the recording Morrissey and Siouxsie had a falling out and neither did any promotional work for the single. Despite this, the single's chart peak (#25 UK) was consistent with Siouxsie's other UK chart placings of the era -- after 1988, whether recording with Siouxsie and the Banshees or The Creatures, she never charted higher than #21 UK.
